Abstracts
 
All abstracts received until January 20, 2000 will be published in the Astron. Ges. Abstract Series. Abstracts submitted after this date will be distributed locally at the conference and made available on this website. The abstracts should be sent by e-mail to abstract@ari.uni-heidelberg.de.

Accommodation
 
Every participant is responsible for his accommodation. Some information about how to book a hotel in Heidelberg is available here.

Poster
 
Participants are invited to present poster papers. Ample space will be available for poster presentations. There will a be 1m x 1m space for each poster. You still can contribute to the conference with a poster presentation (subject to availability of poster space).

Proceedings
 
The proceedings will be published in the ASP conference series. Please find the instructions for preparing and submitting your manuscript for the proceedings here. Deadline: July 1, 2000.

Registration fee and payment
 
The registration fee is between 100 and 400 DM - depending on who you are and when you pay. Click here for details about how much and how to pay.

Social event
 
A welcome reception will be held on Sunday, March 19 from 6pm-10pm at the conference venue. The registration desk will be opened during that time. On 22 March (Wednesday) afternoon there will be an excursion to some nice places followed by the conference banquet. Note that the conference fee should include most of the cost for these social events. On Thursday, March 23, there will be a mayor's reception in the city centre. For more details see here .

Heidelberg, a world famous university town with many tourist attractions (castle, old city, Königstuhl) is also a successful centre of German astronomy, with four other institutes working on various astrophysical topics (MPIA , LSW , ITA , MPIK-Theory ).
