ARI Database for the Apparent Places of Fundamental Stars
The database ARIAPFS provides for the years 1998 and 1999 the
apparent places of the 'classical' 1535 fundamental stars
('Basic' FK stars),
which were published by the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut
from 1960 through 1999 in the annually
'printed volumes of the Apparent Places of Fundamental Stars'.
Starting with the APFS for the year 2000, the printed version of the APFS gives
the data for a few fundamental stars only, together with the information how to use these data.
The apparent places for many more fundamental stars are provided by this on-line database ARIAPFS via the Internet.
Since 2008 apparent places are also available via
the link to the German Astrophysical Virtual Observatory (VO),
as well as Greenwich Apparent Sidereal Time, Greenwich Mean Sidereal Time and Earth Rotation Angle.
